Grier Heights Workforce Development Program

The Hornets Legacy Project Powered by Lowe's, in partnership with POTIONS & PIXELS, are launching a new workforce development program in the Grier Heights community aimed at teaching high-demand electrical skills, and launching well-paid, long-term careers in electrical construction.

Details (More details to come. Certain aspects of the program may change.):

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and live in Grier Heights or have a connection to the community (live, work, or attend church etc.)

The program is expected to run from September through November. There will be 2 sessions per week for 13 weeks. Each session will be 3 hours.

Participants will receive a $15 per hour stipend, meals & snacks, equipment & technology, and certification & skills training.
